Wow, watching that video I think they should just name it FFXI-2. Even the shape and design of the armor on the hume dude looks extremely at home in FFXI. Looks like the harness armor from the front with extra bling. From the back, it looks like that armor introduced in the 2nd to last expansion (I forgot the name already lol).

I see a suffering galka trying to grab some mog looking creature. Maybe one of the races you can use is that mog like thing.

After so many years away from FFXI and the peeps from AlphaPrime, I'm brought back once again with news of FFXIV..... So many mixed feelings about this release :? . Kinda excited to see how this game will turn out though～

Other than that, I'm enjoy a summer break being unemployed.. until my intern coordinator gets back to me (if ever..). Hmm I'm not sure who is still playing. The roster list haven't been updated for awhile. I'm not sure who is still in charge of it. But I am considering to return for this summer!

PS - I'm employed to get yelled at by angry doctors, compound medications, and smile when I counsel patients who doesn't understand what I'm talking about. Woo!

Your job sounds so much more exciting than mine~ right now, I'm teaching English and studying for University entrance exams. Not studying as much as I would like though :| . It's most definitely worth coming to Japan even if its only for a month. It's a charming little country with a mix of tradition, modernity, and a whole lot of strange. I won't lie though, things are quite expensive here, namely the food (taru sized portions) and the drinking. But if you can control those things, it shouldn't be a problem. I'll be living in Osaka come this September and from there, its about maybe a hour and a half bullet train ride to Onomichi.

You live quite an adventurous life Cay! I have a friend teaching English in Japan too, she really likes it a lot. She signed up for another year or two when was she was done with the original time frame. Good luck with your entrance exams, eat some pies too... they really help! I eat a lot of pie and cake and chocolate during finals week, it's the sugar rush speaking to me. I have been looking at the prices of things, and asking for students' experiences. Arkaru was in Japan for awhile too, he said a lot of stuff was tiny too haha. I don't think I can afford the living expenses and traveling for a rotation (it's 5 weeks long). The food prices are what I hear about a lot as a chief source of gil drain. Sigh! I would probably eat myself to bankrupt and have to stay in Japan scrubbing dishes and plates to pay for my way home. Eventually I'll travel there for a vacation, which I think I'll enjoy more since I'll be able to afford it and I wouldn't have to study. :o)

Have you tried the Tokyo Banana cake thing? My sister brought some when she passed by Japan 2 weeks ago. My god that cake taste exactly like a banana it's ridiculous. I kinda wish my sister brought all types of cakes from that shop. They got all sorts of cakes.

Aye, I've had the Tokyo Banana cakes before, pretty damn good. They have a lot of excellent cakes and pastries here in Japan. I think its cause they do a bunch of experimentation and eventually invent something that tastes really good. Like this one bakery near my workplace... the other day they had a chocolate and shrimp danish.....

It looks like corn on the cob, but the center is white, and you chow down from top to bottom.

Choco's were used as mounts since wayyyy back (I don't remember if they used them in the original FF cuz it was so hard and couldnt get passed the first cave lol ; ; )

From the looks of the trailer, they'll probably carry around your equipment and stuff..I dunno ;x Actually that sounds pretty useful! Imagine your choco bringing you equipment from the mog house or something!

Thanks Wicky. I was in Osaka for a couple of job interviews and apartment appointments. Found an apartment! Gonna be relocating to Osaka this September. I didn't eat any ramen in Osaka, but I had Takoyaki (Fried octopus balls..... its actually really good) and Okonomiyaki (pancake-like cook it yourself meal), both are famous in the area. Damn good food in Osaka~
